LangOver 5.0.18 stopped working

At some moment I noticed that the LangOver doesn't work anymore. The LangOver.exe was shown among processes in the Windows Task Manager, but its icon didn't appear in the notification area of the task bar (even with all icons unhidden), and it also didn't react to any shortcut key.

I reinstalled the LangOver, but its setup screen didn't appear after the installation, and it still doesn't work.

The icon that didn't appear in the notification area of the task bar is a know bug of Windows.
I will make a work around in order to fix it.

Anyway - for the Solution:
1)Restart your system
2)UnInstall the Software from ControlPanel
3)Reinstall the LangOver 5.0 from http://LangOver.com
Generally, uninstall is done by Control-Panel Add/Remove software. If for some reason you can not uninstall it, you can download this Uninstaller util (by Microsoft):

After install it , select "LangOver" from the list and click "Remove". Then install the new version of LangOver from http://LangOver.com.

I did as following:

1. Uninstalled the LangOver from the Add/Remove control applet.
2. Checked that nothing remained in the installation directory of the LangOver.
3. Rebooted the PC.
4. Downloaded the latest version of the LangOver.
5. Installed the LangOver anew.

Alas, the problem persisted. The setup screen didn't appear after the installation. The LangOver.exe is shown among processes in the Windows Task Manager, but its icon doesn't appear in the notification area, and there is no reaction to its standard keys F10 and F6.

What windows version do you have?

As far as I remember, the first time when I installed the LangOver a setup screen appeared during the installation or immediately after it. Now it doesn't happen.

My OS is WinXP SP3 with all updates.

HERE THE SOLUTION:

1) Exit LangOver.exe by Killing it in TaskManager.

2) Go to My computer-> C drive->

C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USER\Local Settings\Application Data\LangOver.com

And delete LangOver.com directory.

Then Run again Run->Application->LangOver and click Next,Next in the setup.

Now LangOver will work good!
